The character of Mrs. Frizzle magic is also well developed and intriguing as ever. Charles Micucci The Life and Times of the Honeybee (Ticknor & Fields, 1995) provides further details about the behavior of bees, but the title of Cole is more firmly held. It lacks the close-up color photo provided Heiderose and Andreas Fischer-Nagel awarded life of bees (Carolrhoda, 1986), but offers much the same background and is a good companion volume.
